Quarry

On Friday morning we visited the village of Quarry. It seems to be the poorest village we've been to based on what the houses looked like. Most of them had bamboo walls and grass roofs. There was not a building/house for us to meet in either, just a shady area outside.

The children were wonderful, as always. They loved to sing songs and color their craft.

There was the dole out, which is a term here for giving out food.

During the preaching everyone was very attentive, especially the men I noticed. It is touching that they held hands during the prayer, just like we do sometimes.

Here is the village view. Notice the houses.
